Seochon of Seoul is a well-kept (yet relatively open secret) neighborhood, just west of the city’s famed Gyeongbuk Palace. Here, the rooftops and architecture of Korea’s hanok homes line the alleyways and are flourishing with restaurants and cafes seeking to possess the same authenticity that the exteriors project. Gallina Daisy can be found in one of these places, however, the authentic vibe that head chef Daisy Park is projecting is Italian. Since its launch in 2014, Gallina Daisy has ranked highly among both Korean gourmands as well as Italians who live here as residents or come to the city from the mother country itself. The great rooftop patio also offers an enchanting view of the surrounding historical sprawl as well as Inwangsan mountain in the distance.
